1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the J.K Electronics website, booking a service, or using our repair and mounting offerings, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User", "you") and J.K Electronics ("Company", "we", "us", "our").
2. Services Provided
J.K Electronics offers professional television repair, wall mounting, diagnostic services, soundbar installation, and home theater setup. All services are performed by qualified technicians. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer for any lawful reason, including unsafe conditions or incompatible equipment.
- Repair Services: We diagnose and repair televisions using genuine or high-quality replacement parts. Repair times are estimates and may vary.
- Mounting Services: We install TV mounts on various wall types (drywall, brick, concrete). Customer must ensure wall suitability; additional charges may apply for complex installations.
- On-Site vs. In-Shop: Some repairs may require taking the TV to our workshop. You will be informed beforehand.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are quoted in US dollars. Diagnostic fees, if applicable, will be disclosed before service. Final repair costs may vary if additional issues are discovered; we will obtain your approval before proceeding. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge.
4. Appointments & Cancellations
We strive to arrive on time for scheduled appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $25 fee. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen emergencies, we will contact you to reschedule at no charge.
5. Warranty & Liability
J.K Electronics provides a 90-day limited warranty on repair labor and parts installed by us. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, power surges, water, fire, or natural disasters.
- Issues arising from pre-existing conditions not addressed during repair.
- Televisions that have been tampered with by third parties after our service.
Our maximum liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of data, entertainment, or business interruption).
6. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide a safe and accessible work area for our technicians.
- Backup any data stored on smart TVs or connected devices before service.
- Disclose any known hazards (e.g., pests, structural issues, electrical problems).
- Secure pets during on-site visits to ensure technician safety.
- Ensure that the wall structure is adequate for mounting; J.K Electronics is not liable for pre-existing wall defects.
7. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of J.K Electronics and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written permission. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit malware, or to interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to restrict access to any user who violates these terms.
8. Prohibited Conduct
While using our services or website, you agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten our employees or technicians.
- Attempt to repair or modify equipment after our service (voids warranty).
- Provide false information or fraudulent payment details.
- Reverse engineer any of our proprietary tools or processes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, J.K Electronics, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our services or website. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless J.K Electronics, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of our services; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any claim that your equipment caused damage to our technicians or property.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date". Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, unless the claim qualifies for small claims court. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against J.K Electronics.
